Terms and Conditions

For Avalon Wellness Community meetups

In order to make everyone feel welcome, safe and comfortable, I have outlined a few terms and conditions that I require all participants to adhere to:

Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are made in advance and online at: https://bit.ly/AWCNetworkingEvents
  • Bookings adhere to GDPR more information can be found in my privacy policy
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place
  • For free events booking is required to secure your place
  • Payment is accepted via Stripe through Ticket Tailor.

Cancellation

I understand sometimes that things happen and you can’t make a meetup. In order to be fair to everyone, I have the following policy for meetups where payment is taken:

  • 72 hours + before a meetup starts: a full refund will be given
  • Between 72 & 24 hours before a meetup starts: You can transfer your booking to another meetup or request a 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours notice before or after the meetup starts: No refunds will be available

If you feel you have extenuating circumstances, then please contact Lindsay.

If I have to cancel or reschedule a meetup:

  • You will be given as much notice as possible in this eventuality
  • You will be offered the chance to transfer your booking to another meetup
  • Where payment is taken:
    • If in the eventuality that there is no class available or you do not want to transfer, then a full refund will be given.

Behaviour & group space

The meetup is a safe environment for everyone to fully relax and gain the benefits from the meetup. You are reminded that:

  • To be respectful of others and non-disruptive
  • You might be asked to leave if you become disruptive or distressing to others. If you are asked to leave you forfeit your right to a refund
  • You are allowed to bring your own drinks, as long as they are non-alcoholic

Intellectual Property

Any work shared relating to Veda Coda Therapy or Avalon Wellness Community is my own intellectual property. You cannot record or distribute them without permission.

Photography & Recording

I may from time to time take photos or short videos for marketing purposes to use on social media and/or my website. In this instance I will:

  • Ask you at the time of booking for your explicit permission via a check box
  • If you change your mind and wish to opt out during the class, just mention it before the class starts and I will make sure you are not in any photos or videos

Liability

  • It is your responsibility to make sure that you look after your personal belongings
  • I will not be liable for loss, damage or delay caused by circumstances beyond my reasonable control including but not limited to:
    • acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake or other natural disaster);
    • epidemic or pandemic;
    • war, armed conflict, terrorism or civil unrest;
    • actions or laws imposed by any government or public authority;
    • prolonged and power outages; or
    • Severe illness or incapacity of the instructor

In such an event, I will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and either offer a transfer to another meetup or a full refund depending on the circumstances.

Data & Privacy

My privacy policy includes all data collected for all my services including classes.

Applicable law

If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
