How did I get so tangled up?

Detangling and reviewing your current tech subscriptions to streamline the systems that support you whilst you support others

"Oh not another thing I have to learn" I hear you cry. Sitting at your desk wondering when it will end. Email automations, generative AI, booking systems. The list is endless but time is not.

You signed up for yet another system that your friend uses in the hope that it solves all your problems, but it's overly complicated and so you leave it gathering dust. You have other things to focus on right now.

You're feeling overwhelmed at the abundance of choice and not knowing where to go. You didn't sign up for all of this when you started your business.

I understand. I do. When I started my hypnotherapy business I thought a website would be enough. It wasn't. Over the years I played around with booking, email, social media systems and wondered what rabbit holes I got myself into. There is so much choice but like therapy there is no one size fits all. I will tell you a secret.

We have all these different systems that do nearly exactly the same thing, but the design and layout is different because of how we all see the world differently and how we like to work.

No one tells you how to choose or set up the tech apps you need to run a business when you start out. It's no wonder that it causes you endless headaches along the way.

So how can this be untangled?

The Detangler package is for those who have felt the pain of trying to find the right systems for them over the years and got themselves into a tangle. You have subscriptions of apps that you have no idea what they do anymore or that you have completely forgotten about.

This 2 month package was designed because it reminded me of when I used to work in a music shop when I was at college. Each Easter Sunday we would be asked to do a stock take. Encouraged by overtime, pizza and donuts we were all in. We had the music on full and we were split into teams to cover a section. This was pre online systems where we had to physically count each CD we had in stock and write it down on a piece of paper. It took us all day but it was the most fun I've had at work and I looked forward to it each year. Maybe I was just a little weird.

I will work with you over the course of a month to help you work out what apps you have right now, where you might have some duplication of services, what you actually need, if there are any alternatives and what might be missing. We will create a plan of what you need right now and what you will need in the future.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of your tech, how it can work harder for you to free up your time and energy so you can help others.
